Blooms by the Pond is a small Fraser Valley farm built around the things we love to grow, bake and make. We grow seasonal flowers and food as naturally as possible, create small-batch baked goods, and turn flowers into keepsakes and handmade art.
BACK HOMEDuring dahlia season, our bouquets are gathered from what is blooming beautifully that week. Expect a colourful farm-grown mix rather than identical arrangements every time.
SEASONAL AVAILABILITY
Fresh dahlia arrangements are available while the field is blooming, generally through early to mid-fall. We currently expect blooms into approximately mid to late October, weather and first frost permitting.
Because these are field-grown flowers, varieties, colours and quantities will change from week to week.
Seasonal vegetables, herbs and other farm-grown produce are offered as they become ready to harvest. Selection and quantities vary throughout the growing season.
Our market favourites include sourdough focaccia and cookies, alongside seasonal baked goods and other treats. Special quantities can be arranged for gatherings and events.

Blooms by the Pond began this spring when our family decided to turn our love of growing things into a little farm of our own. We’re new farmers, learning season by season alongside our two young kids, who love getting their hands in the soil, watching things grow and being part of farm life with us.
Our first season has been full of firsts — planting rows of flowers and vegetables, learning what thrives, harvesting what we’ve grown, and raising nine chickens from tiny chicks. Those chicks are now giving us a beautiful mix of rainbow eggs. A small flock of ducks has joined the family too and brings plenty of personality to everyday life on the farm.
We grow seasonal flowers including dahlias, zinnias, sunflowers and lavender, along with vegetables, herbs and other seasonal crops. We try to grow as naturally as possible, without sprays or pesticides, because we want to feel good about what we bring home to our own family and what we share with yours.
Blooms by the Pond has also become a place for the other things we love to make — small-batch sourdough focaccia and cookies, cakes and treats, preserved-flower art, resin pieces and handmade gifts inspired by the farm.
We’re still at the beginning of our farming story, and that’s part of what makes it special. Every season teaches us something new. We hope that by sharing what we grow, bake and create, we can bring a little bit of the farm — good food, beautiful flowers and simple handmade things — into other homes and celebrations too.

As the farm grows, we hope to welcome visitors for limited seasonal U-pick and farm experiences during late summer and harvest season. Dates and availability will depend on what is growing and ready to harvest.
